- Ashley McCarrickSep 04, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★Efurd Orchards has become a 4th of July tradition for our family. The homemade ice cream flavors are seasonal and worth the drive. July 4- Cantaloupe (unexpectedly delicious), Strawberry (classic and my personal favorite), Peach (also amazing and not overly sweet), Blueberry, Vanilla, and Chocolate. Bring a camera for photos of the kids or family with the vintage vehicles, tractors, and fire truck. The peaches are the best around, and the "Monster Melon" we bought was by far the sweetest, juiciest watermelon I have ever tasted. You may pay a little extra for the experience that Efurd's provides, but if you are looking for a fun family outing with a sweet payoff then this is the spot.
